Prior to Salesforce, Izak served as the Chief Information Security Officer for multiple tech companies including Silicon Graphics, and Solectron. Izak founded the Customer Security Advisory Council and co-created the Bay Area CSO Council to share best practices and security-related intelligence information among peers where he served as President for more than a dozen years.

Previously as a Senior Vice President at Oracle he oversaw Business Analytics and Enterprise Performance Management products.
